The Edge 1050’s calendars have also been improved. They now offer enhanced visibility for Garmin Coach running and strength workouts (with compatible wearable support). Additionally, multiple workouts scheduled for the same day can now be viewed within the calendar, providing a clearer overview of training plans.
Several enhancements have been made to data accuracy and presentation. These include:
- Fixed issues with altimeter calibration menu night mode.
- Improved GroupRide rider list presentation by centering it around the user.
- Addressed issues with incorrect gear details and data field population for eBikes.
- Included connection type information for paired sensors.
The update also includes several improvements to the user experience, such as:
- Resolving nutrition/hydration tracking interruptions if the device is powered off during an activity.
- Eliminating pauses during the update process before the unit reboots.
- Adding support for HRM 200 pairing and data.
